As a follow up to my article on Utah apartments I found this and wanted to link to it.
People in Utah enjoyed a preview day for TRAX, Utah’s public transportation system, close to their Utah apartments. Rides were given in exchange for canned food to be donated to Utah Food Bank.
Karen Coon said, “I took the kids downtown for a field trip to visit their dad at work. He’s been riding his bicycle to the main TRAX line in Murray, so he’s happy for the new station, too.” The Coon’s Utah apartment is next door to the new TRAX station.
Utah Transit Authority spokesman Gerry Carpenter said UTA would not have a final rider count for at least a day or two nor would they know how much food it collected for the Utah Food Bank according to the folks at https://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/politics/52320783-90/trax-station-lines-midvale.html.csp.
